Solar Photovoltaic System (Solar PV System)

A solar photovoltaic system is a system utilizing solar cells to convert light energy into electricity. A solar photovoltaic system is comprised of many components, including solar cells, mechanical and electrical connections, devices used to regulate or modify the electrical output, as well as mountings, etc.

Limited Warranty for Solar PV System
1. Limited Product Warranty – Five Years Repair, Replacement or Refund Remedy
Jiangyin Shine Science and Technology Company assure our customers that our photovoltaic solar modules including factory-assembled DC connecters and cables are not defective in materials and workmanship under normal application, installation and service conditions. If MODULES fail to conform to this warranty, then for a period ending sixty months from date of sale as shown in the invoice to the direct customer of SHINE, SHINE will either repair or replace the product, or refund the purchase price as paid by the CUSTOMER, at its option. The repair or replacement or refund remedy provided herein is the sole and exclusive remedy offered under the "Limited Product Warranty" and shall not extend beyond the sixty months period set forth herein. It will be performed directly to the CUSTOMER only. This "Limited Product Warranty" does not warrant a specific power output, which shall be exclusively covered under Limited Peak Power Warranty hereinafter.

2. Limited Peak Power Warranty – Limited Remedy
10 year
If any MODULE offers a power output less than 90% of the minimum "Peak Power at SHINE DATASHEET" as specified at the date of invoice in our Product Information Sheet, within a period of 10 years from the date shown on the invoice to the CUSTOMER, and such loss in power is verified to be due to defects in material or workmanship, SHINE will compensate for such loss in power by either providing additional MODULES to the CUSTOMER to make up for such loss in power or replacing the defective MODULES, at the option of SHINE.

25 year
If any MODULE with a Nominal Power of at least 25 Wp offers a power output less than 80% of the minimum "Peak Power at SHINE DATASHEET as specified at the date of invoice in our Product Information Sheet, within a period of 25 years from the date shown on the invoice to the CUSTOMER, and such loss in power is verified to be due to defects in material or workmanship, SHINE will compensate for such loss in power by either providing additional MODULES to the CUSTOMER to make up for such loss in power or replacing the defective MODULES, at the option of SHINE. The remedies listed in this clause 2 can only be provided under the "Limited Peak Power Warranty".

Peak Power is the power in watt peak that a PV- module generates in its maximum power point.
"STC" are as follows
1. Light spectrum of AM 1.5,
2. An irradiation of 1,000W per m2
3. A cell temperature of 25 degree Centigrade.
The measurements are carried out in conformity with IEC61215 as tested at the junction box terminals per the calibration and testing standards of SHINE, valid at the date when PV-modules are manufactured. Our calibration standards are in accordance with the relevant standards applied by international institutions.
